Laya and Cameron reached out to schedule their engagement session at the National Mall and I was so excited! They scheduled right around Cherry Blossom time but we weren’t sure if it would be peak bloom. Unfortunately, a few days before their session there was a cold front and terrible winds. We thought for sure the Cherry Blossoms would be long gone by their Sunday engagement session. But lucky enough there were still remnants of the beautiful trees and it made for some beautiful photos.

Laya and Cameron met me at sunrise to avoid all the crowds and were great troopers. We started at the Lincoln Memorial and headed over to the Tidal Basin.

These two tie the knot in May 2022 and I am so happy I was able to capture their engagement for them.
