Jennifer and Sean had a change of plans. They knew they wanted to elope but the location for their big day changed a few times before they finally decided on Shenandoah. When talking with them, they wanted to do a first look at sunrise and then have an intimate ceremony with their family. We decided we would do this at two different spots in Shenandoah.
The first spot they chose was Stony Man…meaning we had to hike. So, Jennifer, Sean and I got up before the sun and hiked up to the peak. When we got there we headed to a private spot on the mountain and had Sean hide. We got Jennifer changed and ready for her first look. To say the least, this morning was perfect. Sean had the best reaction. The two decided to say private vows to eachother and it was so perfectly intimate.
After we got a few portraits we headed back to hotel before the ceremony. The two freshened up and we went to Jewell Hollow for their ceremony with family. They had a beautiful ceremony, followed by some family portraits and then wouldn’t you know it started to rain.
It was honestly all so perfect and I am honored to have been able to capture this beautiful day for Jennifer and Sean.
