Alex and Aaron’s wedding was very special because I have known the groom’s family since I was only 14 years old. The groom’s sister is one of my best and longest friends. Because of this the pressure was on to capture their day but it was easy with all the beautiful details they planned and all the love they had for each other.
Riverdale Manor is beautiful. Just the night before the wedding it had rained but the sun was out for Alex and Aaron. It was a perfect day. Alex and Aaron chose a beautiful yet unique color palette of terracotta for the bridesmaids, groomsmen in blue suits; accents of pink, mauves, merlots, and peaches. Lancaster Flower Company did an incredible job with the florals. Accenting all the colors and creating incredible bouquets and arrangements for the event.
Alex and Aaron had an emotional first look. Aaron had such a great reaction seeing his future bride for the first time. I don’t blame him because Alex looked incredible. Her dress was beautiful and included stunning veil “wings” instead of the traditional veil and it made for some awesome photos. When it came time for couple portraits these two got the perfect sunset. The sun was juicy and ready to show off just for them.
My favorite part of the day was all the emotion and love. The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, yet humorous. Their speeches were incredibly special and their first dance made you feel all the feels. These two danced the night away and never left the dance floor. Their friends did the same. It was a beautiful night and I am so happy to have been a part of it.
